Last weekend we visited London and watched the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace – for about the fifth time! My son ( almost 12 now) is obsessed with the guards, regiments and all the rituals and performance. He is familiar with every stage of the proceedings and I must admit, I also love the atmosphere and the pageantry!

No other country does such an event with so much grandeur and boy, does it attract the tourists!
I can really identify with the Britishness of it all as we really do pride ourselves on the fact that all our clothing is hand made in the UK. It takes a lot more effort and time to have each cardigan or sweater, baby dress or boy’s shirt made individually by our highly skilled team of ladies but it is worth the effort.
It is no coincidence that our best selling knitwear for baby boys has our version of the guards hand embroidered onto hats, booties and jackets. We chose the summer version of their uniforms which isn’t strictly accurate but looks cute!
This adorable cashmere baby set shows off our guardsmen really well and is perfect for any occasion. The Soldiers Coat, Flaphat & Booties set is made to order and costs £139 – what a lovely gift for a baby boy!
If you want a smaller gift or a baby shower gift, our pure cashmere Soldier Beanie is perfect. At just £29 and beautifully wrapped in our signature lilac gift box, it won’t disappoint.
Or choose one of our personalised baby boy gifts which all have our soldiers embroidered on them. Our personalised nursery cushion is one of our most popular gifts at £49.
Or go for our versatile merino cashmere blend Soldier Hooded Jacket at £59
